Body text is smaller than 16px
Why it matters
16px is the usual comfortable minimum for body copy. Smaller type works for some readers but not for many.
How to fix it
Set the base font size to 1rem (16px) or more and scale up from there.
html { font-size: 100%; }
body { font-size: 1rem; } Read the W3C guidance: Understanding 1.4.4 Resize Text.
This is a check that needs a person. A11yMate flags it for review rather than reporting a failure.
